Supplying customers with a wide range of subscriber equipment (receivers) is the most important and urgent question for operators broadcasting in DVB. The subscriber equipment question is to be settled in full and in conjunction with the acquisition of one or another equipment for head-end and either CAS. This is because there are too many manufacturers of equipment of digital signal transmission and encoding, but there are more manufacturers of subscriber receivers supporting or not supporting the operator’s selected CAS. TV-network’s strength is not guaranteed by assurances of monopolistics producers, but only when there is a wide range of subscriber equipment produced by different manufacturers. That is why «Crypton» Ltd., pursues an open policy towards embedding of CAS Crypton into subscriber equipment. «Crypton» Ltd., has signed a series of the related agreements with the satellite and cable receiver manufacturers. Such a policy resulted in appearing of receivers embedded with CAS Crypton thus meeting the demands for STB’s of different manufactures and different models. Currently, almost all receivers manufacturer support CAS Crypton. «Crypton» Ltd., established a good feedback with all the manufacturers that produce the receivers supporting CAS Crypton. Besides, «Crypton» Ltd., has and supports its own receivers and software development. «Crypton» Ltd., manufactures and sells the receivers using its trade mark «Crypton». The receivers successfully compete with other receiver brands. Currently, almost all receivers manufacturer support CAS Crypton. The list of receivers is constantly enlarged.
