Ukrainian digital television network "MAXIMUM TV"

Ukrainian digital television network "MAXIMUM TV", which broadcasts in MITRIS system using "Crypton" equipment.


    Ukrainian digital television network "MAXIMUM TV" (www.maximumtv.com.ua) was being built at the turn of the 2005 year. Since 2006 it has been successively put into operation. The subscribers receive 111 channels of high quality. By May 2007, "MAXIMUM TV" will have covered 24 regions in Ukraine.

    The main tasks:

  • maximum-channels number to be delivered while saving on the frequency resources;
  • high-quality content;
  • maximum coverage area;
  • effective integration to any kind of digital services.


        The main equipment of network:

        Transmitting station (directional transmitter) with "Crypton" equipment, transponders' network, set-top boxes. Network covers the regions with individual building and apartment houses with existing infrastructure of cable network. MITRIS transponder network is used for maximum covering. One broadband transmitter provides not only the TV signals' broadcast but also all the signals' packet transmission to the next transponder.
        DTV servers Crypton COD881MS are installed on head-ends. At the first quarter of 2007 the DTV server-remultiplexer Crypton COD980RMS will have been added too.
