2. General

DNG910MSL is a CAS Crypton protected DVB DSND system.
High quality professional PAL decoder and high resolution stereo audio ADC provide digital video and audio signals to the MPEG2 encoder.

MPEG2 multiplexer and SI generator make SPTS stream that Directly come to the DVB-CAS Scrambler.

CW and CAS Crypton SMS generators provide the TS with all the information necessary for conditional access to the DSNG services transmitted wire the satellite link.

DVB-S modulator output L-Band QPSK modulated signal for direct interfacing with Ku-Band Block Up Converter (BUC).

All device and CAS control is made wire TCP/IP connection within your Ethernet LAN.

Crypton Software Suite is a set of programs collected in the Integrated Control Environment DTV Master which can help you to control the device operation.

3. Features

Video input. Analogue video presented as CVBS PAL signal comes to the input of the high quality video decoder which converts it to the industry standard CCIR-601 digital video stream.
Audio Input. Analog stereo audio comes to the input of high resolution ADC and output PCM digital audio stream.
MPEG2 encoder. Digital video and audio streams feed MPEG2 encoder inputs which in tern compress the data to the CBR level that is automatically adjusted to the channel bandwidth of the QPSK modulator.
DVB ASI output. Double DVB ASI MPEG2 encoded TS output is used as the DNG910MSL DVB-CAS Scrambler input, for monitoring or as a source TS for a third party modulator.
DVB ASI input. DVB ASI input can receive the TS from the embedded MPEG2 encoder or third party MPEG2 or H.264 encoder. 188/204 bite/packet automatic lock capability helps the device interface with a wide range of foreign devices.
DTV-compliant scrambler. A Common Scrambler Algorithm is implemented according to DVB-CAS specification ETR-289.
CW and CAS Crypton SMS generator. Embedded CW and CAS Crypton SMS generator makes it possible autonomous conditional access system operation within your DSNG channel and only needs TCP/IP connection established to add or remove the subscriber from the preview list.
DVB-S modulator. High performance DVB-S modulator outputs L-Band QPSK modulated signal with PCR jitter rate below 500ns.
TCP/IP network. Communication between device and control computer is done via regular TCP/IP network hardware.
Reliable software. “CSS” is the software suite to perform all management and monitoring tasks within DNG910MSL devices network.
